OOSOOM PRIVACY POLICY

Effective date: October 2, 2026 · Last updated: October 2, 2026

OOSOOM LLC ("OOSOOM," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to our website, app, and storage service (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

You give us: Account info — name, email, phone, password, and your community/building if applicable; Mobile number & messaging consent — if you choose to turn on text messages, the mobile number you provide and a timestamped record of when you opted in or out, from which screen, and which version of our Terms was in effect (see Section 12); Addresses — pickup and redelivery locations, and a mailing address for legal notices; Payment info — processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers; we keep limited billing details such as the last four digits and billing ZIP, plus Stripe customer/charge IDs); Your item information — the titles, categories, tags, and descriptions you enter for stored items, and any photos you choose to upload of your items or Totes; Waitlist and website forms — the email you give us to join the waitlist, and the details you send through our contact or community forms (such as your name, email, phone, community, and message); Communications — messages you send to support.

We collect automatically: Usage & device data — IP address, device/browser type, app interactions, and similar analytics; Cookies & tracking technologies — see Section 6; Location — approximate or precise location where you enable it (for example, to schedule pickups or in the driver app). When someone scans a tote's QR code, we log the tote's serial number, the approximate location derived from the network address, and basic device/browser information.

2. How We Use Information

  • Provide, schedule, and operate the Service (pickups, storage, redeliveries).
  • Process payments and recurring billing (via Stripe).
  • Communicate with you about your account, appointments, and support, and answer the questions you send us.
  • Send the text-message notifications you have opted into, and keep the record of that consent and of any opt-out (Section 12).
  • Provide security, fraud prevention, and chain-of-custody tracking of your Totes.
  • Improve and develop the Service, including by studying combined statistics that do not identify you (Section 3).
  • Market our own services (see Section 5 for your opt-out).
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

3. Your Item Photos & Descriptions

We treat the contents of your Totes — including any photos and item descriptions — as confidential. We use them to provide the Service, including so you can identify and request items and so you can reuse saved item details when you send the same items back in a future Tote.

Who sees them. Our pickup, delivery, and storage crews work from a Tote's serial number, status, and location. Their tools do not show your labels, item lists, or photos. An authorized OOSOOM team member looks at your item details only when you ask us to — for example, to help with a support request or a claim — or when the law requires it.

Combined statistics. We also turn item categories, tags, and the general type of item named in a label into grouped statistics — for example, how many boxes in a storage location, a community, or a region hold seasonal clothing, and across how many accounts. These statistics contain only counts. They never include your name, contact details, address, account, or Tote serial number, and they never include your photos or the words you wrote. Every storage location, community, or region we report on covers at least 10 accounts, and any count below 3 is shown only as "fewer than 3." We keep this information de-identified, we will not try to re-identify it, and we require the same by contract from anyone we share it with.

Photos. We do not analyze your photos to learn what you store. We do not use your photos or item descriptions to train artificial-intelligence models, and we do not share them for advertising, without your separate opt-in consent.

You control this content. You may delete any Tote from your box history at any time, which deletes its saved photos, and all such content is deleted when you close your account (subject to the limited retention in Section 7). Statistics that were already combined cannot be traced back to you and are not affected.

4. How We Share Information

We share personal information only with: Service providers / processors acting on our behalf under contract — for example, Stripe (payments), cloud hosting and database providers, email and notification providers, our text-messaging provider (Twilio) where you have turned texts on, and analytics (Stripe may collect transactional and device data to operate its services, detect fraud, and provide analytics; see Stripe's privacy policy); Advertising and measurement — our website uses the Meta Pixel, described in Section 6; Legal / safety — when required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and property; Business transfers — in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets (you will be notified).

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share the contents of your Totes with property-manager partners; partners receive only what is needed to coordinate service (for example, that a pickup is scheduled). We may share the combined statistics described in Section 3, which do not identify you.

5. Your Choices & Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may: Access the personal information we hold about you, or request a copy; Correct inaccurate information; Delete your information (subject to legal and operational retention, such as active storage, billing, or fraud prevention); and Opt out of marketing — every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and opting out will not stop essential service messages.

Text messages. Texts are off unless you turn them on. You can stop them at any time by replying STOP to any OOSOOM text or by switching Text messages off in your Notification Preferences — see Section 12.

To exercise any right, email privacy@oosoomstorage.com. We will verify your request and respond within a reasonable time.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in, preferences, analytics, and advertising.

Meta Pixel. Our website uses the Meta Pixel, a piece of code from Meta Platforms. When you visit, it tells Meta which pages you viewed, which buttons you clicked, and whether you joined our waitlist, and Meta may connect that activity to your Meta account. We use it to measure our ads and to show our ads to people likely to be interested. We do not let the pixel read what you type into our forms, and we never send Meta your item information, your photos, or the messages you write to us. Our contact and community forms do not load the pixel at all.

Visit counts. Our website host gives us cookieless counts of visits and pages viewed. We may also use Google tools to measure or advertise.

How people use our website. Our website uses Microsoft Clarity, a tool from Microsoft, to show us how visitors use our pages: what they click or tap, how far they scroll, and how long they stay. It records these actions as anonymous replays and heatmaps and uses cookies to tell one visit from the next. It does not record what you type into our forms — text you enter is masked before it leaves your browser. We use what we see only to improve our website. Microsoft processes this data under its own privacy statement (privacy.microsoft.com). Our contact and community forms do not load it.

Your controls. We do not currently show a cookie banner. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings, and you can control how Meta uses your activity for ads in the ad settings of your Meta account.

7. Data Retention

We keep your account, billing, and transaction records for as long as your account is active and then for up to seven (7) years after closure for legal, tax, accounting, and dispute purposes. We retain usage and analytics data, and the combined statistics described in Section 3, on an ongoing basis in de-identified or aggregated form to operate and improve the Service. We keep waitlist sign-ups and website form messages until you ask us to delete them. We keep text-message consent and opt-out records — the number, the timestamp, and what you agreed to — for at least five (5) years after the consent ends, because we may need them to prove that a message you received was one you asked for; a record that you replied STOP is kept indefinitely so that we never text that number again by mistake. Your item photos and descriptions are kept as part of your box history so you can reuse them; they are deleted when you delete the associated Tote from your history or when you close your account, except where we must briefly retain them to complete active storage or billing or to meet a legal obligation.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including access controls and our chain-of-custody system. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we will notify you as Florida law requires.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under 13 within the meaning of COPPA). If you believe a child provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Third-Party Links

Our Service may link to third-party sites or services (for example, Stripe checkout). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy; we will post the new version with an updated date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in the app before the change takes effect. We will not use information we already hold in a materially different way without telling you first.

12. Text Messages (SMS)

Texts are optional and off by default. OOSOOM reaches you by email and in-app notice. You only receive text messages if you switch them on — by checking the text-message box when you create your account, or by turning on Text messages in your Notification Preferences. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of buying anything from OOSOOM.

What we send. Only transactional notices about your own account — order and appointment confirmations, pickup and return reminders, day-of service updates, box status changes, billing receipts and payment problems, and account or safety notices. We do not send marketing or promotional texts under this consent. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

How to stop. Reply STOP to any OOSOOM text and the texts end; reply HELP for help. You can also switch Text messages off in your Notification Preferences or write to help@oosoomstorage.com. Stopping texts does not close your account or change what you owe — we keep reaching you by email and in-app notice.

We do not sell or share your mobile information. No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes, and text-message opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party for those purposes. Your mobile number is disclosed only to the service providers that deliver the messages for us — currently Twilio — which are contractually limited to using it to provide that service, and to your own mobile carrier as part of delivering the message. It is otherwise treated like the rest of your account information under Section 4.

What we keep. We store the number you gave us, when you opted in and out, and which version of our Terms applied — see Section 7 for how long.
